Anambra Polls: I will Remain And Work For APC - Sen.Andy Uba

Senator Andy Uba, a governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the party’s primary election has said that he would not leave the party.
Uba who addressed his supporters at his campaign headquarters on Friday said he had resolved to stick with the party and also work for it as it remained the best party that had the interest of the people at heart.
Uba had earlier expressed disenchantment over the party’s primary election conducted by Borno State Governor, Alhaji Kashim Shettima, in which Uba had been defeated by Hon Tony Nwoye.

There had been fears that Uba who is regarded as an influential member of the party may leave with his supporters.
But Uba while addressing his supporters said, “whatever I can do to make the party win, I will do. I will work for the party, and I will work to ensure it wins. APC is our party, I have done a lot for the party, and I will not leave it for any other political party, that is my resolve,” Uba said.
