PDP Crisis Rages On, As three Governors Shun National Convention.

Three governors of the People Democratic Party were conspicuously missing today at the National Convention that took place at the Eagle Square.
The governors were that of Cross River (Senator Ben Ayade)  Bayelsa (HON.  Seriake Dickson) and Ebonyi (Engr. Dave Umahi)
No reason have been given for thier absence but rumours say it may not be unconnected to Supreme Court judgement which ousted Senator Ali Modu Sheriff and recognized Sen. Ahmed Makarfi as the authentic National chairman.
Governor of Cross River, Sen. Ayade was an an unrepentant supporter of the Sheriff faction, and is said to have failed in his attempt to woo Makarfi to his side. The governor is also romancing heavily With APC and recently they was a strong rumour of his attempt to defect to the APC.
Governor Umahi is another governor been rumoured to be harbouring the the intention of moving to the APC.
Reasons for Dickson absence is still not clear but we will update you if they is any rumour on why he did not attend the Convention
