2019: More Trouble For PDP As Ayade Aide And Former Speaker Dumps PDP For APC.

The fortunes of the PDP in Cross River has continued to dwindle as more people dump the ruling party in the state for the opposition APC.

This time it is Ayade Senior Special Adviser on Legislative Matters and a former Speaker in the House Of Assembly and Reps member that represented Ogoja/Yala federal constituency in the National Assembly Rt.  Hon.Gabriel Edi.

Hon.Edi who declared for the APC during the APC Ogoja chapter celebration of the Bakor New Yam Festival in the Ishibori playground cited poor and visionless leadership as provided by Gov. Ben Ayade as the reason why he dumped the umbrella he has held for 16 years for the broom, which he accepts is a veritable instrument that will sweep Ayade and his poor leadership out of power in 2019.

Hon.Edi promised to lead his troops from the rear to ensure that APC gets victory in 2019. He also thanked Chief Ray Ugba Morphy and Mr. Wabilly Nyiam for been the encouragement they gave to him to defect.

This is the third Ayade aide that has dumped PDP for APC after Chief Ray Morphy and Daniel Obo.

On hand to receive him was the APC State Chairman Mr John Ochalla who described him as a political Miankokor who has come with large wealth of experience and strength to add value to the APC family, others included BOT member Mr Wabilly Nyiam, Vice Chairman South,  Hon. Victor Okon, State Deputy Youth Leader Mr Kalita Aruku, Chapter Chairman Mr Joseph Ukpo, Chairmanship candidate for Ogoja Mr Leonard Afanga, Mr Eric Kanjal, Mr Mark Atabi, Chief Omo Bright Ntaji  and other dignitaries
