APC South South To Begin Tour Of States.


   
  As part of measures to boost the morale of state chapters of the party in preparation for the 2019 general elections, National Vice Chairman, South South Zone of the All Progressives Congress, Ntufam Hilliard Eta will be leading all other members of the Zonal Executive Committee(ZEC) of the party on a tour of states within the zone. An itinerary released by the Zonal Secretary of the party, Rt. Hon. Stephen Ezekwem indicates that the tour will commence on the 22nd of September with a tour of Cross River State while Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and Rivers states will take their turns on the 23rd, 29th and 30th of September respectively. The itinerary also indicates that the ZEC will be in Delta and Edo states on the 6th and 7th of October respectively. Ezekwem said all the state chairmen of the party in the zone have been duly informed of the tour which according to him, intends to take stock of the challenges, weaknesses and strengths of the party in the respective states with a view to projecting ways it can take or maintain the lead in the 2019 general elections in the country. The statement mentioned that during the tour, the zonal body will hold series of meetings with party officials and town hall meeting with critical stakeholders of the party in each of the states within the zone.
